Is it normal to include several programming languages in a resume or is it better to have a separate resume?
I have a resume where my entire career has been in PHP programming. Accordingly, skills revolve around PHP. Now there is a desire to learn other languages and perhaps change direction. Should these skills be added to an existing resume, or should a new resume be cross-referenced?

Much depends on the employer. For example, I believe that knowing several languages for a programmer is the norm, and the time for relearning a new language is usually no longer than the usual adaptation in a new company, but there are also employers who are looking for a narrow specialist in one framework, not just a language.
You (taking into account the experience in php, since this language is usually taught by people with a certain mindset), I would advise you to expand your existing resume, and not produce new ones.
Knowledge of several languages is the norm, but you need to prepare a separate resume for each stack - this is a good form. Just do not need any cross-references - respect the one who will read the resume. Respect is the maximum brevity and clarity.
