I want to become a C++ developer, but will Unity help?

I have been studying C++ for 2 years, in the future I want to become a C++ developer and I work for this purpose. But today I had an idea, I want to create a game, but create it with the help of an engine, namely Unity. I know that there is Unreal for C ++, but I am familiar with Unity, unlike Unreal. And here's the question, actually, I want to be interviewed for Junior C++ next year. Will a fully finished game in Unity + C# help me to create a good impression and improve my chances of getting a job? Or this project will have almost no impact for me as a C++ developer. PS I would like to work in gamedev in the future

Of course it will help, at least it will allow you to work with the same flows, events. On those. you will be able to show it to the social security + there will be new topics for conversation, it will never be superfluous. But as the person above said, try immediately on unreal, since this is the main place where you will use the pros

In a real job, you will have to learn and use many different third party libraries. Practically nowhere is the "naked" PL used. So start doing it right now. This will be good practice for you.

At a minimum, it will be possible to look at the architecture and cleanliness of the code.

Whenever possible, do something that will bring pleasure from work. The need to do something that you don’t want at all will be enough.
As for c#, there seems to be a project that allows you to write Unreal blueprints in c#. So it will come in handy
