Is it enough to make a step of 8px so that the layout designer does not have to rack his brains with an adaptive?
I am a designer. Almost always used bootstrap grid of different sizes.
When creating the next layout, I encountered the fact that the site will be divided into 3 blocks and the outer ones will be glued to the edges of the screen. Is it enough to make a step of 8px so that the layout designer does not have to rack his brains with an adaptive?

The adaptive step won't help.
We need layouts with different arrangement of content blocks for different screen resolutions.
