Is it difficult to move from frontend to backend and stay at the same salary level?

I am now a frontend developer. Very hooked java. But I understand that when switching to it, at first I will receive much less than now, due to the fact that there is no commercial experience in this direction. Of course, I can be wrong, perhaps with the proper level of knowledge and my background in the front, I can get about the same salary. Maybe someone had the same situation? I don’t know what to do .. Morally, it’s very pressing that I will receive less, but I really want to change direction.

So at work, talk to the manager that you want to try to go to the back. Maybe agree on a smooth transition, that you will do your front and gradually take on junior backend tasks first, and then we'll see how it goes.
Your question is simply irrelevant. No one knows what level of frontend you are, how much you earn, where you work and how quickly you can switch. Only you know this.
PS They don't always get as much as they know, but as much as they can sell themselves for.
