Is it convenient for a system administrator to use a MAC?

The system administrator can work on any computer, and any platform, in general from the terminal.
But in terms of ease of use, in terms of administration experience, who of the system administrators uses which platforms? Is it generally convenient for a sysamdin on a MAC to sit and administer and work with servers, with networks?
Which of the users and respected admins uses as the main working platform, on the working (for freelancers on a home computer): Windows, Linux, iOS, Freeha, Unix, etc.?

It depends on what to administer, really.
There are all sorts of proprietors who have no software except for Windows (parallels will save or vbox, but the first costs money, and the second is not so convenient).
And so we have about a third or half of the admins use the poppy and do not seem to experience any inconvenience. A matter of habit.

it all depends on the axes of the remote servers and what needs to be done there, there is rdp, ssh too, so work)

I used a mac while working as a system administrator. Much more convenient than on win 7.
But this is my subjective opinion.

Everything depends on the infrastructure.
In the enterprise, doing both the server and network infrastructure was not convenient, I'm sitting on windows. There were not enough administrative and regular windows snap-ins, the vsphere client, the 3par management console, netapp, etc.
In the provider, dealing only with networks and linux servers, it was all the same from under what to work, since apart from ssh and sometimes rdp nothing was needed.

if the work comes down to ssh access, then it doesn’t matter from which system. from a poppy it will be convenient.
By the type of my activity, I work on win7, since the enikeystvo element (users on win7 are all) has not yet been eradicated.

Here you can argue a lot! in general practice, both are good! It's a matter of principle, convenience and ability to work! Everyone chooses what he likes!
