Good afternoon. Researching the laptop market looking for an assistive device for web development and university. The PC is seen as the main device, so I would not like to pay a whopping amount of money for a laptop. In search of a laptop, I focused on the MacBook air 2020 on the M1, but buying a MacBook is already an extreme measure for me, so I'm considering cheaper deals on windows. I was looking only for devices on the latest amd, and I came across a Huawei matebook d14 at 4500u for 60k, but the presence of a matte screen became an unpleasant remark. In my opinion, gloss is very important for the web ... Is it worth looking at a matte laptop or is it just a poppy? If you have suggestions for laptops of high quality in terms of assembly and materials, and with gloss, please share.

Gloss is only important for a designer who needs accurate color reproduction.
There should be a joke here that the designer designs on retina with perfect color reproduction, and users sit on a
matte, uncalibrated 4: 3 screen (by the way, this really caused problems that users stupidly did not see the difference between two shades of gray on the background and everything merged into one canvas)
In terms of performance, everything is ok.
I tried to touch some kind of matebook - I personally liked it, nice.

If you are already looking at Huawei models, then if I were you, I would take the Matebook 13 model on AMD (link) . Approximately the same price tag (a little higher), but you will get hold of 16 GB of RAM. But at the same time, one inch less than the diagonal.
I myself have been using the previous generation Matebook 14 (on Ryzen 3600u) for a year now, I don’t particularly complain, but I would like more memory. So take a trinashka and you will be happy. Everything is fine with flowers. Not great, okay. And it’s better, as suggested above, to touch it in the store with your hands.
