How to connect Huawei E173 3G modem in CentOS?

The only source of internet is the modem, so you won't be able to install the rpmforge repository and the usb_modeswith, usb_modeswitch-data packages directly on CentOS.
So I downloaded them from Windows, but I don’t know the installation process, and will it work? Who knows?
The modem, by the way, has already been switched to "modem" mode.
I'm new to linux, by the way.

Have you downloaded at least rpm packages? If yes, start the installation manually, like a normal Windows executable. You may need more dependency packages, but not a fact. If the installer swears, carefully read what and add packages manually as well.

rpm package is installed:
rpm -ivh package_filename
yum install package_filename
of your choice ;)
