Is Debian/kFreeBSD a serious thing or a toad-motorcycle hybrid?
In the process of looking at distributions that want to replace their CentOS 6.8, I came across such a thing as Debian / kFreeBSD and I would like to ask - does anyone use it? The eternal problem of FreeBSD is less hardware support compared to Linux and, in my opinion, the opposite would be more interesting here - the Linux kernel with the "world" from FreeBSD, ports, etc.

If you are bored use gentoo if you just want to work use centos/debian
Three years ago, all software (server under the lamp stack) fell and dropped.
On the good side, it is ready to work as a gateway to a rather large network, while the BSD network subsystem is better suited for this than the Linux kernel, and it is more convenient to manage just the GNU ones.
Like everything related to *BSD-systems - a toy for geeks with a low FRR, you need to scratch it and it is plump.
Unsuitable for work.
