What you need to know to become a System Administrator in a hosting provider?
Good day, my name is Sergey and I am a novice system administrator, I have a great desire to work in the field of hosting web resources, for almost a year I have been using Linux at work and at home, picking my own web server on apache2-nginx, trying to delve into the intricacies of setting up and understand how the hierarchy of web servers is organized by hosting providers, I read a lot of various documentation, I'm interested in what you need to know in order to become a good system administrator, I will be very grateful if you specify a list of the most necessary knowledge.

Apache, Nginx, Mysql, PHP, PostgreSQL, Redis, node - the most basic, to have an idea of what HA, CDN, routing, how firewalls work, what virtualization is, it is good to know 3-4 common hypervisors, well, practice and experience, there are a lot of different tasks in hosting, it’s pointless to list everything, there are networks, servers, security, architecture and development planning, monitoring, and a lot of things. The simplest thing is to get on the first line to any hoster and see for yourself.
Still, more often you need to know hosting panels (cPanel, ISPmanager, Plesk, DirectAdmin....)
and how to work and interact with them.
Popular CMS (WordPress, Joomla, Bitrix....), how to fix simple problems
Know the methods of finding bottlenecks in the operation of servers (I'm going to learn this myself), well, that is. the server slows down, why exactly?
You need to know the directors of this hosting provider. Well, or at least the head of any department.
You need to know how to cut traffic to users so that they cannot later prove that they cut it :) They will tear it off with their hands :)
