Is a double VPN possible?
Not so long ago I thought about whether it is possible to purchase, for example, 3 different subscriptions to vpn services and put them in this way -
1) Will be at the PC level (Program)
2) Will be at the Browser level (Extension)
3) Will be at the Router level
Thus, as it seems to me that this will create additional anonymity, since the traffic will be encrypted several times and it will be much more difficult to get to the last vpn.
I'm wondering if this makes sense and will it work at all?

Is a double VPN possible?
With the right settings it will work. Nested encrypted tunnels have been encountered in practice.
But whether this guarantees greater protection is far from a fact. Anyone who can oblige one VPN operator to provide information will be able to do this with three, it will take a little more time and nothing more.
I will answer like this. Most likely you don't need it. Because if such a level of secrecy is required, including from the VPN services themselves, then you would not ask about it on the Toaster, and you would not use other people's services.
Therefore, just choose one good VPN service that suits you in terms of price, range of servers, convenience of programs, and enjoy.
