I'm in Beijing now google, gmail, youtube, facebook don't work. I used a working VPN to connect to the corporate network and access via spice to the virtual machine, there were no problems.

I have lived in China for 7 years. With the great firewall, something is constantly being added and edited... recently Instagram was banned due to the events in Hong Kong.
