Is 72 degrees normal for an RTX 2080s?
Hello, tell me. I bought a video card a year ago (2080s), after a while the temperature jumped to 72 degrees (Is this a high temperature at all). The video card is regularly under load. I set the cooler speed through the utility, the maximum speed according to the standard was somewhere around 1800. After setting mine, it became like this: I'm just afraid that this can accelerate the wear of the coolers. Am I freaking out?

The critical temperature for graphics cards is 92°C, and 72°C is normal, my Gtx 1080 Ti heats up to a maximum of 73°C, these are good temperatures for video cards, so don't worry, everything is fine with your video card
72 is even good.
My 3080 in an open stand warmed up to 65 (new only from the store). In the case - somewhere in the same way about 70 degrees temperature.
Before that I had RX480 - 90 degrees held and RX5700XT - 80 degrees.
And do not give a damn about these coolers? Well, they will wear out a year earlier - buy new ones, the issue price is 500 rubles if you don’t bother with the original ones. It's better than paying 50k for a new card.
Inside built-in protection that will reduce the clock frequency and the temperature will be within 80°C.
So everything is fine.
