IP for a small software company?

There was an idea to create a small company that sells software - start with freelancing, then gradually switch to selling your developments. The question arose: LLC or IP? And then such a moment: the IP seems to be responsible for the work with all the property. Accordingly, the question is the most banal: will some cryo-handed Vasya Pupkins not drag me through the courts with subsequent undressing to zero?

They'll drag it.
IP is cheaper in taxes.
And you have obvious problems with the business model.
The transition to "selling your own developments" will take 10 years. And this transition is not a business, but fucking self-employment. However, you will have a lot of headaches. And the money will be orders of magnitude less than you expect.
Before opening a new company, just a tip - work in some companies in this industry, see how the industry works, how the market works, how companies work. What opportunities, what difficulties.

There was an article on vc.ru similar to your idea. Only there was a partner. As a result, everything fell apart after 2 months, and they worked for a dubious freelancer.
Earn just the dough and open what you want.

You don't start there.
First earnings, and only then formalization. Legal and tax registration is simple.
Finding how to make money and being able to do it is hard.
An LLC has an IT tax credit advantage when it has many employees.
