The computer is connected to the router via Ethernet, the speed according to speedtest net is 900Mbps for downloading, and 300Mbps for uploading. How so?

Cunning providers put speedtest servers in their network, and when checking, they are the closest and are used automatically. As a result, you get intra-provider speed, which very often does not correspond to the real one. Before the test, select a server manually from another city.

There is no such thing as "internet speed" except in marketing. and figures, respectively, in the best traditions of marketing, are taken either from the ceiling, or on the basis of the principle "Schaub was taken."
speedtest.net does not show "Internet speed", but the bandwidth of the channel from you to the selected node.

Coronavirus is to blame for everything. RT removed speed limits on all tariffs for "convenience of working remotely"

The provider has a crookedly configured / not configured / temporarily or permanently disabled shaper. This often happens with small providers, large ones often make a speed margin so that customers do not complain that the speed is 98mb / s instead of 100). In general, this is normal, but not the fact that for a long time.
