Internet not working until you ping?

DHCP is on win server 2003 is there also a Kerio gateway? After rebooting all this, the Internet does not work on some machines until you ping 8.8.8.8

Of course there is little input. But logically, your DHCP does not give out any of the settings until you explicitly request it. Somehow it worked for the provider, and for some users the pages did not open until you pinged the gateway - and, accordingly, the problem was on our gateway.
