Installing Ubuntu Mobile on a communicator?

Learned about existence of Ubuntu Mobile for N900. The question arose - is it possible to put it on a communicator (TI OMAP800 200MHz, ARM)?
Theoretically, you need to install the kernel with the console, raise the X, write a window manager and drivers (or find ready-made ones). Can I read the details somewhere?

I highly doubt that it will be possible to achieve acceptable performance, although without X you can try

I bet. On the HTC Herald. There is a project called angstrom linux, wing-linux is made on its basis, I installed it. In principle, it works fine, but, of course, this is not for the phone.
