How to install Windows and activate so that there is no license violation? It is clear that the key, but what if it is not?
Most of the stationary and cheap laptops came without an OS in the kit, so there are no keys, and you can’t weed out such computers, because there are more than half of them from the total mass.
Are there any loopholes? I studied the issue a little and there are prohibitions everywhere. An unactivated OS is a violation of the license. Activator - even more so. If I give non-activated Windows and give the client a link to the activator with detailed instructions - a distributor of pirated software.
The most interesting thing is that in every city there are many shops and services that reinstall Windows, somehow they work.

1 - the most liberal in terms of price - OEM licenses, moreover, only a computer assembler can buy and resell them. VL (corporate) can only be bought by organizations, not only + to OEM (I’m not 100% sure here, maybe my office was not poorly bred, but it was a long time ago, and since then I haven’t bought on behalf of large companies)
2 - shift to client - you can, like somewhere there was an explanation that the violation occurs at the time of accepting the license (OK under the words "I have read, understood, and accept the terms ... blah blah blah") ... but on the other hand - the fact of the agreement about the personal responsibility of the customer, and the moment he presses the button (mouse click)- it would be useful to record on video, and put it on a shelf for the investigator ... but really few people will go for this in a sober mind and sound memory

everything is simple ... there are four options in total (the rest of their combinations):
1) sell a license to the client;
2) install demo versions (having previously read the license for demo versions, take into account their nuances, for example, almost all of them are not for commercial use);
3) install only software from distributions that the client will provide (i.e. you provide only a technical service, the client is responsible for compliance with license requirements);
4) install free software (but here you also need to know about licenses and their restrictions)
And most importantly (if you worry about legality), draw up a correct contract, and provide services after signing it, and not before ... another important point is accepting money (cash desk or current account), otherwise they will accept, if not for one, then for another ))))
