Installing 12.04.3 on Toshiba SATELLITE PRO C850-1HE

The search returns results on problems with Ubuntu installed on the laptop. I'd like problems like this than not being able to run Ubuntu at all

UEFI is present and is not disabled ((It is gray.

The hard drive is divided into 5 partitions, and dual (as I understand it) boot is used. First: -- Intro about being Toshiba -- Win8

What attempts have been made.

We put the disk from 10.04 into the drive, and ... Win8 Okay, the same disk, I found how to boot from the SD, the same effect.

The flash drive that I used to install Ubuntu on my computer. I have a normal BIOS. THE SAME selection menu, I see USB, Enter and ... media [fail]

Tried through the boot menu Win8 Added GRUB4DOS bcdedit'om registered, everything seems to be correct, as in the instructions. Drops out in the fail boot window. Sadly. It may not load because "drive C:" was not mounted in the system before Vin8 was loaded

All attempts were made with the intent that Vin8 would live.

Now there is no way to get to the laptop, so I will check all the assumptions that may arise later.

Even Windu Piggy or Linux from HBCD did not let it run.

If
"UEFI is present and not disabled ((It is gray.")
means the Secure Boot option, then it is disabled after entering the administrator password. If the password is not set, then you need to set it yourself. You can turn off Secure boot and delete the password (leave the new password field empty), so as not to remember later on occasion.
