In which bank of Ukraine to issue a card for payment via the Internet?
Actually, I wanted to hear the opinion of the Ukrainian part of the habro-community about the subject. Need a card for infrequent (!) purchases via the Internet in foreign online stores and on ebay.
At the moment I use Visa Internet from Privatbank, it seems to suit the level of service, but it’s annoying that for each transaction (successful or not) they withdraw $0.35. The last time when buying in one online store, money was withdrawn in parts for 4 times, as a result, the bank commission amounted to $ 1.4.

Recently opened Visa Internet in BTA Bank. The service costs 10 UAH per year (the card is opened for two years) and 2 UAH for each month in which there was at least one transaction.
For 5 years I have been regularly using the OTP bank card (otpbank.com.ua) for payments on the Internet - Amazon, Paypal, various paid accounts, software. Never and no problem. Plus, there is a good Internet banking with two-factor identification (you get a keychain token), and it is constantly being developed and various goodies are added. Although the cost of maintenance is not the cheapest.
"Charming Gamanets" from DeltaBank. deltabank.com.ua Registration is free, maintenance is free, interest on the balance. Internet payments are free. At the branch, when opening, write an application to set a limit on Internet payments, plus if you use PayPal, you will have to call the free support service and remove the CVV2 code check for a day.
I have a card in UkrSotsBank, payment via the Internet is connected by calling the service center, the maximum period for which transactions can be allowed is 3 months. Then you have to call again. Good for occasional purchases. I won’t tell you about the commission, I have a link to paypal, and there is a commission there.
Deltabank is included in the group of the largest banks in Ukraine according to the NBU classification.
Privat is such a Privat… In general, you need to understand that most Ukrainian banks issue cards with which you can make purchases on the internet. BUT! some of them are not accepted by Google Checkout, some are not accepted by PayPal/Amazon. There is no universal solution. The maximum of services that can be paid - I met only in pumba. Including - removal of cvv2 upon application.
Alfabank opened for itself, paid on the Samsung app store, Steam paid for similar things. With paypal, the same garbage “call a free support service and remove the CVV2 code check for a day.” In general, I do not use it so actively, so there have not been any problems yet.
Hmm, why not take an ordinary Privat card? I have a regular Visa Electron, they come with a cvv code, there is no mandatory payment as in the virtual Visa Internet. Paid for a bunch of purchases in various stores. The only problem was with sellers that only ship within the states and require billing and shipping addresses to match.
I have Visa Virtuon from Forum Bank. Both PayPal and Google are normally accepted. Through it I pay for hosting and bought software a couple of times in the Andriod Market. Of the minuses, I can probably only replenish, for example, I can only replenish at a bank branch, I haven’t tried other methods, there’s no need, and the second thing is that you need to call support to remove the CVV2 code, but this is also not a big minus, I can always call, I even tried at 3 o’clock Nights all normally filmed and paid. Connected to the Internet banking of the Forum. You can open in dollars and euros and hryvnia if necessary.
PS Yes, I'm opening it for the second time, unfortunately you can open it only for 1 year.
By the way, there is no such commission privatbank.ua/platezhnie-karty/internet-karta/
In general, I chose Alfabank (I opened hryvnia and dollar visas classic), but the further, the more it annoys me ... You can put money on a card only with a passport. Internet banking is not at all online (3 or 4 times a day, only updates occur, and transactions are not carried out on weekends). Commission when transferring between your cards (for currency conversion 1%) - there is absolutely no point in opening 2 cards from someone with a salary in only one currency.
In general, you need to look for an alternative.
