Is it worth it to carry out such a ritual, or the old believer seoshnik completely went, or maybe I'm not keeping up, but the seoshnik turned out to be right?)

It is, at the very least, useless. If you are promoting in Yandex, then the nouedex for navigation elements will affect 100% negatively. Google may not pay attention or also give a negative result. In the current realities, it is necessary to work not on "SEO magic" with closing half of the site in the noindex, but on things that are really important and useful for the user, such as commercial factors, ui / ux, as well as the technical side of the site from a professional and proven point of view, and not from the side of adherents of SEO-magic inventing unsubstantiated edits.

I would add. Why extra trash? Especially section navigation menu and filters. And certainly a page of filtering and search results in Dissallow :)
