Why is Google indexing a popular site so slowly?
Hello. Such a problem is a popular site with video content. Attendance among competitors is almost the highest. But Google indexing is very slow. A new page is sometimes added within 24-48 hours and sometimes longer. Although at the same time, if you add it manually, then everything quickly works for about 5 hours usually.
The most dumb thing is that we give the opportunity to embed videos on other sites. And the last video that we added was built into a little-known site with 100 traffic, which is not even in the search results for general questions. So, the video (Film) embedded from our service to its website is already the first in the search results. And we don't even exist yet. What could be the problem?
That domain is 1 month old. Ours is 6 but we did the transition from an older domain.

You need to check
- the correctness of the last-modified, if-modified-since
server headers - the addition of new pages to the sitemap with high priority and frequent site updates, the presence of the sitemap in the Google search console
If there is no link from the main page to new videos, then its worth adding to speed up indexing.
Perhaps it’s worth somehow actively artificially adding links from social networks to a new page immediately after publication, this will definitely speed up indexing.
In general, the problem was solved by checking what I described above and relinking so that new pages have cross-links and a link from the main one.
