I want to make my own Android device. Where can you find all the information you need?

I want to make my own Android device for home (alarm clock). So far, I have outlined the following action plan:
1) Create your own Android assembly. In it, make your own home screen where the actual alarm control buttons will be. Create an alarm clock app.
2) Buy a used Android handset and put your own build of Android there.
3) If the two previous points are successful, buy some kind of debug board on which Android is installed and try to install your assembly. Well, actually try to make a device based on this board.
Please tell me what to read on the topic of creating such devices and also advise which board is better to take for a device that should have a screen, speakers and is supposed to be powered from the mains.

https://developer.android.com/things/hardware/inde... - isn't it easier? and you can do without custom assemblies

I would take Raspberry, put Android there and do not need to assemble anything.

The assembly of Android is done for a SPECIFIC model.
That is, first you take a used pipe, and then you already do the assembly.
