I replaced the motherboard, do I need to reinstall Windows?

Good day.
I am not an expert in this matter, yesterday I studied the issue on sites, and opinions are different everywhere .. someone writes that it is NEEDED, someone is not NEEDED .. someone generally advises to forget about it, edit the entries in the registry and use it to your health . BUT! Well, put the driver from the office. motherboard site.

So.

There is a new motherboard on the old hardware. Windows started up (the activation did not fly off) without problems, I haven’t installed anything yet, no drivers and so on. But something tells me that for the correct operation of all hardware, it is necessary to configure it correctly, and it’s worth starting with reinstalling the system - am I right? Please correct me and point me to the right path.

everything about everything .. but not specifically ..
- if there is a bunch of installed software + too lazy to rearrange + the system has started = rejoice! (+ reinstall all the missing firewood
- if you want everything to be perfect = make backups + format the disk + reinstall the system + all firewood + all software + get data / settings / files from backups,
choose what you prefer

If the chipset on the new motherboard is compatible with the old one, then you won't have to reinstall Windows. And if it's not compatible here, excuse me, where to go?
PS You need to reinstall
PS it's easy to google

Windows had to be reinstalled only in the days of windows nt4, now it’s quite possible to recover after changing hardware, there are specific cases when the disk controller changes, but it can be solved simply by removing old drivers and installing new ones.
