I connected the monitor via HDMI, but the image is bad, what could be the problem?

The video card is new (1060), the monitor too. The wire is far from the cheapest.
I connected the monitor via HDMI, in the monitor settings I set it to "according to the width of the screen." Everything is fine, the fonts are clear, there are no black bars, etc.
However, I noticed one oddity when I put a picture on the desktop with a smoothly shimmering background. ( https://psv4.userapi.com/c414919/u119461281/docs/6... There are noticeable
bands in the transitions from light to dark areas of the image. The feeling that the color quality is 16 bits. However, I looked through all the settings, it costs 32 bits. The picture is normal, I checked it on another monitor, but it was connected via VGA.Is
it possible because the monitor is connected via HDMI?Is it worth buying a DVI cable?Or is there another problem?

Install the monitor driver. Play with the ratio frequency - resolution.
