I bought an ASUS RT-AX92U router, but for some reason the Internet is disconnected via Wi-Fi on the device from time to time, why?
Hello everyone :)
Recently I was choosing which router to take with a view to the future, as a result I freaked out and took the ASUS RT-AX92U, the thing is cool, it’s enough for the whole apartment now, but it doesn’t finish the second one (I’ll buy a small dot so that it can be expanded through Mesh)
Question I got up like this, from time to time there is a disconnection of the Internet wirelessly. That is, there is a signal, I can even get into the settings of the router, BUT when I go online, it doesn’t show anything, just on a mobile phone, for example, I’m sitting on the Internet - everything is gut, time passes and everything breaks, although I’m connected to the point. I reconnect, and everything works automatically
The same situation arose on the laptop, I reconnect and then everything is gut, what can cut access or speed?
Maybe the channel is heavily clogged and that's why I break off? and I don’t need to set to auto, but scan an unloaded channel and then switch to it?
Also, at first I had to load the router itself from time to time, now it seems to work more stable, I threw it off to the factory once and then reconfigured it, it seemed that I had to load more for the same problem that I wrote about above!
Help with advice where to dig, who has dealt with such fancy things??
Or if it’s a marriage, then I’ll throw everything back while the old point is in the same place, and I can even sit on it if I really need to :)

This is not mikrotik, everything should work out of the box.
Firmware latest? (No - update)
If yes, then either it is raw,
or you poked something wrong (reset to factory settings, even if you didn’t poke anything, reset it anyway),
or the router is defective (fortunately, asus returns defective routers without problems, even with floating problem).
PS Mesh - so-so solution, try powerline kit from tp-link. There will be no seamlessness, but there will be a stable speed. And it will be possible to place your router closer to the center of the apartment, and the powerline router to the center of the second

Good day? Did you manage to solve the problem with RT-AX92U? In what range did you experience outages?
Faced a similar problem, but in my case only at 2.4 MHz. When connecting a certain number of devices (in my case, these are IoT devices, about 35 in number, the speed drops sharply by 2.4 MHz, almost to zero. The devices do not consume traffic, they are simply connected to the server, and sometimes exchange several kilobytes. But the speed drops to 0.1-03Mbps It does not help either resetting to default settings, and setting up the entire network from scratch, or various other dances with a tambourine, such as choosing a channel with the least interference, Each time there are some changes in the settings for a certain time (about 5-10min) , keeps normal speed 35-40Mbps, distance 1-2m from the router, then everything drops to 0.1-0.3Mbps.If you remove most of the devices and leave about 5, everything works fine.In the other two 5GHz bands, there are no problems. The old router (TP-Link Archer C7 v1), which was before the replacement, and a couple of others that I tested, cope with the same network without the slightest strain. I'm thinking of sending it in for repair or replacement.
