Hyper-V dynamic RAM efficiency?

Good afternoon!
Share your experience, which is better: to assign a constant amount of RAM for virtual machines, or to set a dynamic interval?
Does Hyper-V manage to produce volume, does it slow down?
The load on RAM can grow either instantly or gradually.

Well, with fixed memory, it immediately allocates the entire volume, regardless of whether the machine needs it or not.
With dynamic memory, it allocates like any program in Windows - how much they ask for so much and gives ...
Nothing should slow down

There will be no brakes.
PS.
In the days of Hyper-V based on WinServ2008R2, I sometimes experienced a glitch in a Linux VM if dynamic memory was enabled: at some point, kswapd0 ate 100% cpu.
On the Internet, I have only seen an explanation for memory ballooning in Xen. But I observed this on Hyper-V and RHEL (either 6 or 5) as a guest.
I won’t say anything about now, because it’s already 2012R2, and newer cores and only a pre-allocated amount of memory.

Stop. For fatty services, the brakes will just be. For example, I selected from 8 to 16 for mssql. Otherwise, it shamelessly slowed down. If anything, this is a sequel to sharepoint, however, this also applies to sharepoint and to ekschendzhu and to the office server. It is safe to give to a domain controller, dhcp, certificate and even a file service. Here you can start from 512, but of course do not set it to such values, it will take a long time
