No exotics are required to make a bootable flash drive from a distribution .iso. A common program such as UltraISO, or a slightly less common UNetBootin, is enough. You just need to make sure that your computer supports booting from USB.
1. Insert the flash drive into the computer. Run UltraISO (if not, install or run portable). We open our ISO image with the distribution kit of the installed OS in it. Go to the "Boot" menu and select "Burn Hard Disk Image". In the window that appears, click "Record", but the program will first ask you to format the flash drive, and then start recording.
The recording process will take 10 to 20 minutes.
2. Download and run the UnetBootin program. It is portable, i.e. is not installed and does not leave any traces on the computer. Specify the ISO image, select the volume letter of the USB drive, and click OK. The program itself will automatically process the ISO image and make a bootable flash drive, with which you can later install the OS on your computer without using a CD / DVD drive.
The program is simple and understandable even for beginners.
