What if I renamed “explorer.exe” to “explorer”?
I have windows 10 original. Reinstalled 2 times from the original flash drive. Video card: Geforce GTX 1050ti. Processor: Intel Core i5-8400. May be needed.
In the task manager, I began to notice that explorer.exe loads the processor by 25%. I ran a full scan in the purchased kaspersky, everything is clean. I thought about renaming explorer.exe to see what it was about. Yes, I confess, a moron, I could just “open it with help”, next time I will be smarter. I decided to look in the C:/windows folder and in C:/windows/System32, I didn't find "explorer" anywhere. In general, I decided to download explorer.exe from the Internet, but when it starts, it gives an error: the system did not find api-ms-onecoreuap-settingsync-status-I1-1-0.dll. Also downloaded explorer.exe weighed about 200kb less. I downloaded the reshacker utility to open exe files. I opened this explorer through the task manager using “start a new task” in the utility, in the utility itself I pressed save as “explorer.exe”, I write in the task manager to create a new task “explorer.exe” and issues: It is not possible to run this application on your PC. To find the version for your computer, contact the app's publisher. Also if I'm going to launch the control panel. There is an option to restore from an access point, but I don’t know how to do it without explorer.exe. A bootable Windows flash drive.
