HP Server Warranty - What does it cover?
The HP ML310 gen8 server was purchased. It had 4GB RAM. After the purchase, another stick of memory from the same server was added to it, the OS was installed and it was put into operation.
He worked for three days and went down. Having connected the monitor, I saw the bootloader all in colored blinking squares. Rebooted the server, it beeped. Through simple manipulations, a buggy memory stick was found, removed, and after it he got to work and there were no more problems with him for about a month.
I wrote to the store, they offered to hand over the whole thing for diagnostics. There is no way to do this, the server works flawlessly and there is no way to remove it just like that. Separately, they don’t want to take the memory for a guarantee, citing the fact that they sold the server. I wanted to call HP support, dug through the entire site, but did not find any hotline.
Maybe the community will tell you what to do in this situation, I don’t believe that due to faulty components it is necessary to carry the entire server under warranty. I would also be grateful if you could tell me the HP support contacts.

Should only accept the memory module (unless it's a motherboard issue), call 8-800-500-9255 www8.hp.com/ru/ru/contact-hp/phone-assist.html - server support.
Register immediately at: https://passport2.hp.com/hppcf/createuser.do?lang=...
Perhaps you will receive a replacement bar without the participation of a dealer.
PS Before calling, prepare information about the client (about you, phone number, address, etc.), SN and PN of the server and the memory module.
PPS "The store said that he added one more stick of proprietary memory." - does not affect anything at all.
I changed the memory and screws under warranty. Through the nearest (the only one in our city) authorized HP service center. Although the server was purchased from a completely different organization. First, they ask for the serial number where the memory was installed, then they change it.
if a broken RAM was found from the delivery of the server, you must ask for a replacement bar, and explain that the server cannot be given for testing, unless at the time of testing they do not give the same one, for a temporary replacement
I contacted HP support asking for a warranty on RAM:
"Components are covered by the warranty of the server itself, if these components are not covered by a limited warranty (for example, hard drives)."
In my case, the warranty on the server has expired, therefore, on the memory module as well.
Check the warranty for certain components with authorized suppliers in Ukraine www8.hp.com/ua/ru/support/partners.html or Russia www8.hp.com/ru/ru/support/partners.html
