Does anyone have experience using a fitness bracelet with an ECG function? How well do they work, my mom has an arrhythmia, do I think it's worth taking one for control or is it all toys?

At one time on Habré there was a post of an ambulance doctor who tested this method on his watch. Link below.

In short:
Apple Watch with ECG is not currently designed to detect other heart problems than AF.
They are also not suitable for people who have already been diagnosed with AF - they need to see a doctor regularly.
They CANNOT accurately detect the risk of a heart attack. Even a full 12-lead ECG can miss certain signs of a heart attack.
They are not considered a US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved device. The FDA is simply issuing approvals, "pre-market 510k pre-market approval forms," which state in no uncertain terms that the device is not intended for use by people under 22 years of age. The device is considered a class II home use device, which includes condoms and pregnancy tests. [Last year, the FDA approved a special strap for the Apple Watch that measures the work of the heart, marking it as a medical accessory / approx. transl.]
They are not a device for continuous monitoring of the electrical activity of the heart. They can track the ECG only when you touch the wheel with your other hand.
It is physically impossible to build an ECG with one electrode. To measure electrical activity, it is necessary to organize a closed circuit passing through the heart. Even a wireless device worn on the other hand will not cope with this, since it will not be part of the same circuit.

Quite exactly.
But this is not a medical device, it did not pass laboratory tests (push is expensive), so they write "not a medical device" for safety reasons.
