Should I buy computer glasses?

I sit at a laptop for an average of 8-10 hours a day. I
thought about glasses for a computer because my eyes hurt.
I started googling about these glasses and 50% of people on the internet say that it's just a waste of money, these glasses do not help in any way,
and the second half of the people say that these glasses are just healing, they need to be applied to wounds.
I would like to know from experienced developers whether it is worth buying them or not?

I used such glasses about 8 years ago, sitting at CRT monitors. They helped me. Without them, in the evenings in the dark, my eyes were red, during the day at work, my head and eyes began to hurt almost every day. Glasses got rid of it. But I have not used LCD monitors for many years and everything is ok.

I tried, they have at least a small but diopter and the eyes hurt even more - if the vision is generally good.
In general, the main advice that always helps - do not forget to be distracted and blink .
