How to watch PDF?

Adobovskoe monstrous bloatware with a mountain of unnecessary functions, corporate tentacles, vomit-glamourous UI and attempts to shove some left shit antivirus got me.
The most famous alternative - Foxit - has been tested and found to be unusable more than once. Some years ago it was just a little crooked, but promising software. And now it's also bloatware, but even crooked and scarier than Adobe's.
Maybe the world community has given birth to some other alternatives that can really be used?
I would like something like Acrobat from 10 years ago or an analogue of WinDjVu.
