How to use windows screw on linux?

hello everyone, I use linux mint 19.1 on an ssd drive, there is another hdd drive on which windows, and another hdd that is used by windows to store files, can this drive be used to store files on both operating systems, without formatting for each OS?

Windows understands NTFS . If you want to use the disk on both OSes - use NTFS , it will be the most convenient. Personally, I once divided a disk into two partitions: one for data under Win, and the second for data under Linux.
