How to upgrade to 10 without problems?

I'm trying in recent days to kick 7k 64 to 10k. Tried in different ways, it doesn't work.
Through Windows Update, it hangs at this point for half a day.

Through the Media Creation Tool, it downloads files and hangs at the moment "Searching for updates". The wheel spins and that's it.
Through the Update Assistant, it hangs identically at the same moment.
How to fix it and how to update anyway?
