How to update the registry and copy the file using group policies?

Good afternoon!
Need help! I deployed the .msi package and the service pack for it using group policy.
For it to work correctly, you also need to copy the file to the folder with the program. I created a "settings" policy, in this policy the following config:
1.
Computer Configuration-Policies-Settings-Windows Configurations-Files
of the mouse button-Create file
Action-Create / Update / Replace
Source file - select the desired file in the SYSVOL directory
Final file - set the path where you want to copy the file C:\Program Files\ etc.
gpupdate / force
no result, the file does not appear there.
2.
And for the same program, you need to make changes to the registry. reg file, how to do it?
Where to dig?
Thanks in advance for the replies!
