How to unmount a hard drive from the system?
Good afternoon.
I bought an ssd in a laptop, but the system, despite the fact that it is installed on ssd, loads for a long time, I think the problem is related to hdd - at 5200 rpm :(
the question is how to unmount hhd so that by default it is not connected, and if necessary, mount it?
I think to leave hdd for files and do not remove from the laptop and do not disable in bios
os MINT 19.1 Cinnamon

Take /etc/fstab
a look, you need to add a parameter noauto
to the desired (not required) disk or partition.
You can google for details.
