How to understand higher mathematics?

I am a 1st year student at a technical university, there are a few problems with mathematics, but it can be solved and I would like to be able to imagine all this in my head in order to understand the whole essence of these solutions and the application of the problems themselves in science and technology in the future
. The same as with physics , but the meaning is visible in physics, so I'm waiting for your comments and advice on this matter, maybe someone has encountered a similar problem, I ask for help, because the training is tight, but I would like to know perfectly well for myself
Thank you all in advance!

Demidovich in the teeth and forward. Need more practice. We began to pass the limits, so immediately solve everything that is possible. Have you switched to derivatives? we continue in the same spirit. Integrals? Well, here you can’t do without a pen. It is advisable to find a couple of like-minded people to go together to the reading room / any other place with a learning attitude, where they can prepare together according to the materials. As for the theoretical part, then you should not worry. Firstly, to master the language that mathematicians write, the letter ∀ should not plunge into a sense of panic, and the difference between "u" and "∩" should be obvious. Try to understand the theorems, try to understand what they operate on, try to remember the properties of it, well, try to prove them. Everything will turn out, although it may not be right away. I didn’t understand matan at all until the second year, and then somehow it became easier

When you drop the keys into the toilet, roll a piece of wire into an integral shape and take them out, you will understand that it was not in vain!

If you have an understanding of physics, try to consider mathematics as a tool for solving physical problems, besides, university physics is directly tied to higher mathematics.
This is where the understanding of why it is needed in the ordinary world will come.
