How to transfer Win7_x64 from real PC to VirtualBox?

Made an image of the system disk with Win7 through dd
converted it to vdi format
VBoxManage convertdd DISK.img win7.vdi
Added a disk to a virtual machine with XP - the disk seems to be all files are available.
But to make an independent virtual machine with win7 did not work - the system does not boot, manipulations to restore the boot through the Win7 installation disk did not help.
what other options are there to fix the boot of Windows on the disk image made?

@yellowmew

on the question in the title: there are usually p2v utilities for converting a physical machine into a virtual one.
For example, there is such a description of the process for Virtual Box and Windows 7
On the question in the text: you need to create the bootloader again.
You apparently only copied the system partition, leaving out the boot partition.
