Why is vagrant better than MAMP Pro on Mac?
For web development, I have been using MacOS + MAMP Pro + PHPShtorm and GIT for a long time. Everything is clear for development on Symfony, Django and using other frameworks.
The other day I came across Vagrant, studied it. Installed the first boxes. Perhaps due to still little understanding in vagrant. But I ran into problems in PHPUnit, project synchronization, additional HDD costs, RAM consumption.
But the internet is buzzing that Vagrant is buzzing. But I had a question: is it worth studying it deeper and using it in my development. Considering that in a team of 5 people everyone uses MAMP Pro (as a server) and there are no problems.

I have a question. A sixth person will come to the team (and even with a MacBook). How long will it take to set up the environment?
