How to transfer Unifi Controller?
I have a Unifi Controller on my laptop, I want to put the controller on a VM.
How to do it?
I read if you install a new controller, then you need to set up a new Wireless Networks. So or is it? If I put the old network will not crash? What will happen to the old controller?

Excerpt from Linux readme:
* How do I backup / restore?
1. Make sure UniFi is not running
2. for backup, tar/zip everything inside /path/to/UniFi/data
for restore, untar/unzip everything back to /path/to/UniFi/data
3. restart UniFi
* How do I upgrade?
1. make a backup
2. download the new UniFi-linux.zip and re-install
3. untar/unzip the backup file back
Under windows I think the same. Also don't forget to open ports on the VM and ip must be from the same subnet. The old controller needs to be stopped.
