How to transfer the Windows Search index?

Good afternoon!
Our organization uses a virtual environment where users do not have a specific virtual machine for which they work. Those. car is randomly selected. Users have a roaming profile and "redirect folders" enabled.
In this case, users have a problem when using search in Outlook, because. it uses Windows Search. Outlook uses a public IMAP server. When changing VMs, the user's index is rebuilt, which results in the inability to use search in Outlook until the process is completed.
The search problem is solved by using MS Exchange, but it is not planned to be implemented yet.
Is there any way to move the index to a network location? Or some other way to solve this problem?

@akelsey

The cache is here: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\
in the Windows.edb file, try copying with a profile, it might work.
