How to start learning mobile interface design?

Hello!

Actually a subject. Given: there is an iOS developer with no experience with Photoshop, knowledge of design principles and typography. Tell me, fellow IT specialists, where to start. Books, articles, screencasts? I would like to learn how to draw something simple, but nice :)

Thanks for the answers.

It's a difficult path.
Here's what a good iOS front-end developer should know:
- understand the basics of usability and building interfaces (there are books, for example, by Ruskin and Alan Cooper). But they are large, so I advise you to read Cooper's "Escape from the Asylum" for a start, it is small and simple.
- understand the principles of graphic design, in terms of what tasks it solves and in what ways.
- learn how to use graphic programs (this is the easiest point).
- to have a sense of taste and aesthetics, color balance, proportion, in other words, to be able to do it beautifully. Most people don't know how.
- about fonts, in order to understand some basics, you can read A. Korolkova's book "Living Typography" and the book "Design for non-designers" or "Non-designer's book about design", something like that. She is small and simple.
- ess-no, read a glimpse of Apple HIG
- watch other applications to do no worse. Watch all sorts of sites like dribble and behance.
Perhaps you still find it easier to entrust this task to someone else?

@DailyFuckups

I started learning mobile interfaces when I came across responsive classes in Bootstrap. At first it was nothing more than a prank, but now I know exactly how to make an HTML5 application with it that is ready both as a mobile site and as a standalone application for Android and iOS. On the plus side, Bootstrap's design adjusts itself to the screen size - there is no problem with screen size differences on different devices.
