How to start a career as a C++ developer?
Now stood at the crossroads of choosing a job.
Very strongly drawn to algorithms, data structures and other beauty. As understood for these purposes, C ++ is best.
In this language, I once wrote laboratories at the university and liked the language very much. But life makes its own adjustments and I have to go to work after 6 months.
Is it realistic to finish teaching him to the level of internship / work during this time? Keep in mind that I'm still in my 3rd year of college. Or is it better to choose something simpler?
Thank you very much in advance.

Alas, no one can say how real it is. I had an experience when, without a portfolio with C ++, I got a job in an office where they developed software for laboratory chemical devices. But this is luck, the people who conducted the interview were supportive, did not give difficult test tasks and took more for the mood. It may immediately turn out that not a single suitable vacancy will turn up and they will ask in full, and with a couple of years of experience it will not work. But, yes, in 6 months it is more than really good to master almost any technology. Everything will depend on the labor market in your city. There are two tips here: study like never before and look at vacancies now, study them every day - what are the requirements, what are the tasks, and in fact you can already try to talk to someone about employment, be frank, but they don’t beat you for demand.
