How to speed up the creation of the same type of images in Photoshop?

Let's say I have a certain template that the rest of the pages should line up with minimal changes. The changes apply only to text and images. The template structure itself remains unchanged.
Carrying images from time to time and manually changing the text is a rather dreary task. How can this process be accelerated or automated?
