How to solve problems after installing Kali as a second OS?

Wanted to install Kali Linux and Windows on the same PC. Unfortunately, there was no space on the Windows Disk, so I connected an external hard drive and installed Kali on it. After installation, the PC rebooted, BUT no GRUB opened, it is also now impossible to enter the Boot Menu and there is no item in the BIOS settings to start through another disk.

Please tell me what to do? How to return everything back or at least open the Boot Menu?

- installation on an external hard drive is a controversial decision, but if it is booted, then good luck
- installation on different disks is the best approach for different operating systems
- F8 or F12 is most often used to call the Boot Menu, the exact prompt is usually in the BIOS post (this is the boot screen)
- judging by the description, you may have installed Grub on the same disk as Windows, but then managed to assign a boot from an external
ps in the BIOS, if so, then the decision in the BIOS (or in the boot menu for a quick version check), this is not a disaster. grub is a very flexible thing, you can install it on an external drive, and restore the original boot on the Windows drive .. or you can just use it as is. the main thing is to find where the real download is now?

@firedragon

I'm using a 32gb flash drive. 8 gigs are allocated for the system, everything else is for an encrypted disk.
Dial-boot I think is a strange decision now.
