How to solve Node.JS [Debian] installation problem?

I'm trying to install Node,JS on Debian using the command:
apt-get install nodejs && apt-get install npm
Gives an error:
E: Unable to locate package nodejs
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Try apt-get update
Or the debian link will work too
