How to solve 32bit OpenGL library issue on Ubuntu 13.10 amd64?
Good day. Hardware:
CPU Intel Core i7 930
Nvidia GeForce 520 gtx 1gb
RAM 5GB (available 4.8)
Software:
Ubuntu 13.10 (fully updated).
Linux kernel 3.12.5 (installed after updates).
Nvidia proprietary driver 304.117 x86_64 (beta).
The driver was installed as follows:
1.NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64.304.117.run file was placed in downloads.
2. The system is rebooted, during the user selection, the console was started and the X-Server was stopped.
3. NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64.304.117.run from the downloads directory was run under sudo.
4.During the installation, the following were installed: a module for the kernel, dkms, 32-bit libraries (which the script also asked about). The X-Server configuration has been updated.
After I tested the freshly installed driver with a simple method - launching games. Valve games are going with a bang. However, I would like to use not only Steam, but also Wine. When I try to use PlayOnLinux, I get an error related to the lack of OpenGL 32 bit libraries. I am new to Linux and unfortunately I have no idea how to fix this. Reinstalling the driver didn't help. Does anyone have any ideas how to deal with this? Or is it not my fault and the driver itself (most likely) simply contains non-working libraries?
