How to share a folder in Windows 7 for access from the external Internet?

There is a computer with Win 7 behind the router, it has a shared folder, if you have a dedicated IP address, you need to access it from a computer from an external network. As far as I know, shared folders work well inside the local network when all computers work on the same subnet. Is it possible to somehow make samba work for different networks? For example, the target computer has IP 192.168.0.2, behind a router with IP 192.168.0.1 (LAN) and IP 105.35.35.23 (WAN). How can I access the shared folder of that same computer from a computer with IP 123.24.25.26? I know about port forwarding on the router, I'm wondering if it's possible to do everything using Samba, and not the same SFTP, or samba only for local exchange?

This can be done, but it is difficult, and most importantly, there is no point - the SMB protocol is written for local networks.
Low ping and high speed. When you try to copy something more or less heavy over the Internet, it will blunt and fall off.

If anyone forgot, I'll remind you. The last major virus attacks (Petya virus) exploited a vulnerability in the SMB protocol. It is very bad practice to stick your ass out into the world of a service that is not intended for this.
It is better to deploy your own cloud, such as Synology or NextCloud.
Or use public.
