File server take 2
And so, after numerous searches, nothing more or less adequate NOT Samba could be found, so returning to the topic of file servers:
Please leave links to projects / distributions of a “ready-made” Samba server solution.
Needed:
- LDAP (the LDAP server already exists, this server should be able to take users from it, as an option, be able to be a replica)
- ACL (ideally with the ability to write to a folder, but prohibit listing for user A and allow listing for user B, but prohibit records, of this level)
- Web muzzle for admins
- Quotas for folders
- a standard backup system
The presence of all items at the same time is not a prerequisite.
What I would like to find: something like this pfsense, only for a samba server. FreeBSD/Linux - doesn't matter. The option of a paid distro with support is also being considered. But in this case, there must be a Community version (ala Zimbra).
In Google on this issue, I personally got lost. Therefore, I ask anyone who has something on this topic - throw everything)

Buy yourself a younger Netapp =) There are all points except the ideological one "But in this case there must be a Community version (ala Zimbra)."
I tried all variants of ZFS servers for 2 years. I will answer guaranteed that the best option is to manually configure FreeBSD + Root on ZFS or, if out of the box, then NexentaStor CE or SmartOS (I especially recommend, because zfs on Solaris is TRUE, because Solaris started the whole thing, respectively, support is as stable as possible) .
