How to setup raid on HP DL360p Gen8?
We have the following: 5 ssds, one of which is intel pci.
Now the server has 4 sat SSD and 1 pci-e. The p420i controller is configured as bootable.
When trying to create an array through ORCA, an error occurs. And it doesn't matter how many disks are selected and what array is created. When using SSA, a cache configuration warning is shown. All 4 disks are visible as unssigned, the initialization button is pressed, but I cannot create an array. When using Inteligent Provision (F10) at boot, the logical drives are not automatically found. Also defult raid 5 is not created when pressing F7 during post test.
When installing Server 2012R2, all 5 SSDs are seen, but the system is not installed on them, since they are not bootable. Naturally, for installation on a nvme disk in the BIOS, I set it to be bootable.
When using the Intelligent provision, I updated the firmware, the packages are downloaded, but only the update utility itself is offered for updating. And this is where the error occurs.
What could be the reason for the error in creating the raid?

Try downloading SSA offline, for example https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swI... , it looks like the raid controller is in HBA mode, boot from disk and disable it, then it will be possible to create a raid. The built-in and not updated ssa does not show an option to disable or enable the HBA.
This will probably help.

Configure cache to use it from disks (should be faster than controller)
